Anthony's Story

Life well, lately this past year 2006 and 07 i've been working with Behavioral kids for Portland Public Schools, in the special education setting. Very rewarding, just working with kids. Currently i'm looking at Deployment for the Oregon Army National Guard. Scheduled for a year and a half to Baghdad. It's the army life for me, HOOAH...!!!!!!!! College Eastern Oregon was a stepping stone to my college career. I learned alot there. Drinking mainly, drinking wasn't a problem. Get drunk fall down, no problem. Then there was Clackamas for a short stay, another falling down experience. Then went to Chemeketa, graduated with a AA in liberal arts and on to Western Oregon, where i graduated with a BA in Education, emphasis PE/Health. Imagine that, once a gym rat, always a gym rat. ll for the past 20 years. I've umpired, baseball and softball. I've worked in Construction, concrete and roofing. Both of which are for the birds, manual labor SUCKS....!!!!! I've worked as a personal trainer and in the fitness industry for 15 years. I've enjoyed that alot. I've worked in juvenile corrections, very rewarding, currently working for Portland Public Schools, in a Special Education room working with Behavioral Kids. You know all that stuff i did in highschool and didn't get caught. Well these kids need me, they respect me and i can relate to them. So i'm comptemplating working in law enforcement/corrections or to continue my education and become certified and licenses to teach. I don't know, but GOD knows. Military Recently enlisted in the Army National Guard. What happens from here, God only knows. GOD BLESS AMERICA....!!!!!!!!!!!!!
